If you don't already know the story (then you're not signed up for the Spilled Milk Updates), I'll tell it here.  Sharon Scott (from Liar Comics) gave me his name and number and said that he does really good work for the price range I was looking for. I would say he does great work for what I'm paying.  I gave him a call and we talked for a while about the project and comics in general.  His major concerns were getting paid, because he's had some bad deals go through with another publisher and never got paid for his work.  I don't want to mention any names but the publisher strives for Disorder!  He was also concerned about the paper that we were using.  Many of the fancy pens he uses won't work on crappy paper.  As it turns out the paper was passable and he was able to get started.  The paper that we use isn't the best, but I guess that will change in future issues.
