SPILLED MILK PRESS RELEASE #4
For Global Release

Spilled Milk recruits some of the finest talent in the industry for alternate covers.  While out at the San Diego Comic Convention, creator Parker Smart did some networking and recruited pencilers Dave Finch, Joe Benitez, Keu Cha, and Andy Park to work on an alternate covers.  Issue #1 will start with Dave, then Joe’s for issue #2, following with Keu’s for issue #3, and wrapping up with Andy’s for issue #4.  Joe Weems added his spectacular inks and colorists Dan Kemp and Steve Firchow lay down some gorgeous color.  Smart hopes that this will create a buzz within the industry and fans will be more willing to check out this up and coming publishing house.  Retailers and fans will be able to view a large sampling of the artwork online so they will know exactly what they are buying.

With the inks nearly complete on the final issue, Smart should be assured of releasing the issues monthly as to not disappoint the fans and retailers.  There is no official release date yet, but Smart hopes to submit to Diamond in April for release in time for this year’s San Diego ComicCon International.  There are no current plans to branch out into any new titles and he would like to stick with CiCi to see how far he can take the title.  But Smart has written an story in the hopes that the publisher of his favorite comic character will like the treatment which is located on the Big Island of Hawaii.
