SPILLED MILK PRESS RELEASE #7
For Global Release

The Majesticon, a comic book convention in Denver, is Sunday November 10th. Spilled Milk Comics is proud to fly in some of the hottest talent in the industry. Parker Smart, Spilled Milk publisher and big time comic fan, wanted to help give back to the fans. “It would be nice to have more big names come in for signings more often to keep the interest alive here in Denver.”

Dave Finch, who is known for his work on many great titles including Ascension and Aphrodite IX, is the alternate cover artist for the debut comic of Spilled Milk, the CiCi Miniseries. Dave is currently working on projects for Marvel and should break away from his home in Canada and attend the show.

Joe Benitez, creator of The Magdalena and long time penciller of The Darkness, is tearing himself away from his current creator owned project and will spend Sunday signing CiCi #2 and whatever the fans bring in. Smart saw Joe for the first time at the San Diego Con back it August and he said it was nice to finally put a face with the voice he’s talked with over the phone for quite some time.

Keu Cha, penciller of one of The Witchblade which has got to be one of the hottest books on the market, is taking a break from his graphics arts gig to bring his family out to Colorado for a short visit. I’m sure that he’s getting more and more recognition since The Witchblade TV show aired on TNT last year. He will be signing the alternate to issue #3 provided that it is shipped by the expected date of November 6th.

Monte Moore, local fantasy and science fiction art painter, will also be on hand for signings as well. Monte lent his airbrushing talents to each issue as he did full blown wrap around paintings which encase each issue. The trip won’t be very far at all for him as it is a short trip South down I-225 to I-25 to the Denver Sheraton in the Tech. Center. Monte is also co-organizer of the Majesticon and has been in attendance for many years.

Issues #1 and #2 are now available in your local comic shop and issue #3 will be on the comic shop stands November 13th. Your comic shop doesn’t carry CiCi they can order any issue through Diamond Comic Distributors or you can order directly from Smart through his website www.SpilledMilk.com.
