In my travels to different retailers and many a phone call, I’m finding out that if you ordered only 4-5 copies of CiCi #1, chances are you were sold out by the end of the day. Shame on you!  Spilled Milk is an unknown entity in this industry, but the word-of-mouth news has been traveling quickly.  I'm pleased to announce that after six long years the first miniseries is finally being published.  I didn't have the luxury of assigning deadlines for people who had other projects going, but in the future I will be able to assign deadlines and see that they are met.  With the first four issues essentially in the can, I wanted to make sure that I would not be late.  I know that's what the fans expect and what drives sales.

Gecko Comics (a store in Hawaii) ordered 20 for the shelf and they had only 5 left that Friday and the owner said those would be gone that same weekend.

Moulton Comics (where I shop) ordered 50 for the shelves and has blown through more that half of them in the first week, but with issue #2 coming out in September he’ll be more than ready to supply the curious with a copy of #1.

* The price really should be $2.50.  That's what was in my submission packet.  There seems to have been a typo or something and it's pretty critical.  I hope Diamond resolves this soon.

Please feel free to dig around the web-site.  There is a ton of artwork; some finished and some is in progress.  Most of the artwork that is shown in progress is finished by now and has not been posted to the site.  I wanted to give retailers and fans a chance to see what they were buying and hope that they might sign up for more than just one copy.  So far the site is a success in providing fans information in publishing their own comic.  I think along with the comic book itself, people are interested in the creative process and what actually goes into creating a comic book.  That has kept the loyal fans around even without anything to show for it except for two preview issues.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask if they are not already answered on the FAQ.  I'm very excited to be publishing my first comic and I hope it will be a huge success and continue to be successful for the foreseeable future.
